All of my metal prints are created using the dye sublimation process. To complete this process, the image is first printed on inkjet transfer paper and then placed face down on a sheet of chromaluxe matte aluminum. Finally, the two are placed into a 400 degree heat press where the dyes from the paper turn into a gas and transfer to the metal. Once the dyes cool, they return to a solid and are permanently bonded to the aluminum.
